We have some of the most talented customers around. The quality of the photos we see on a daily basis being ordered as canvas prints is one of the best parts of my job. We don't take for granted that we get to see a tiny little slice of people's lives and we are so honored to be entrusted with that. We see photos on canvas of everything from the wedding to the newborn photos to the 50th anniversary photos. We see vacation photos and some extremely talented artists photos and paintings. We want to start recognizing some of our favorites of the week. These could be something that catches our eye or a particular theme we are seeing more and more of. The point is we want to show you guys off to the world. You may get inspired by our other customer's work and might give you a few ideas to incorporate into your next photo canvas.
This week we are going to highlight Frank Beck. Frank is the owner of of Beck Industrial which is a company that makes and sells cement mixing trucks. Ok, I know you look puzzled, but this just goes to show you that our customers come from all walks of life. Frank came to us a few years ago with a goal of giving a unique thank you gift to all of the clients who have purchased a cement mixer from him. He had found us online and decided he was going to make canvas prints with the specific cement mixers on the canvas for the specific customer. But Frank has taken it a step further. Frank takes the time to make each canvas print a little more unique by having fun with the photo in Photoshop. Now, I am not sure what exactly Frank does to each of the photos...because it is always different. The point is, that he not only makes these a special gift for his clients, but it is also a creative outlet for him by making these photos of cement mixers (not your normal candidate for wall candy) into Warhol-esque pieces of pop art.
We admire that kind of creativity and thoughtfulness from Frank Beck. Goes to show that you can have a lot of fun saying thank you to someone...and probably impressing them with your creative skills. Personally, I think this idea can go a long way. Canvas prints as thank you gifts...hmmm...that seems like a perfect fit. Here are a few more of Frank's creations.
