The Easy Way to Create Fine Art Photos on Canvas

It's early in the morning. You wake up, get your cup of coffee and get yourself ready for the day. You look outside and all you see is fog. What is your response? Do you immediately feel depressed and want to crawl back in bed or do you pump your fist, grab your camera and go out hunting for a cool photo? A little dramatic, yes...but it is true for many photographers who know what the secret is for creating amazing fine art photos on canvas. Yes, part of that equation is us, but this post isn't about tooting our own horn. I want you to realize how easy it is for anyone to go out and create some instantly cool photos...not matter what the subject...seriously.
Ok, so what do you need to create these amazing photos I have been talking about. Well, if you haven't guessed already, you need a foggy day and a camera. That is pretty much it. Doesn't matter what kind of camera...your phone camera will do fine. Now get out in that fog with your camera and start hunting for unique photos. It won't be too hard. In my experience almost everything in fog immediately takes on a different quality. A scene that might be otherwise ordinary on any other day is now unique and interesting because of the fog.
Fog has a way of hiding certain things and also bringing the focus on other parts of a photo. Think of the fog as a backdrop. It can help get rid of some of the normal distractions that you might find in the background of the same photo on a normal sunny day. Use that to your advantage. Fog will make everyday things mysterious, ethereal and/or airy. The toughest part of getting a good photo is deciding to head out in the fog or pulling off to the side of the road for a photo op. Be safe, be brave and go for it. I am supremely confident that you will come out with some fantastic photos that are worthy of being fine art photos on canvas.
